More bags!

 Hey all so I have been working on more bags this week. I have 7 classic totes with snaps left.  Short update about Matt and Dori Deitrich-- They found out Friday that a baby boy was born in Alabama that was being put up for adoption.  They drove down Saturday and are waiting for Carter Owen Deitrich to be released from the hospital and to finalize the paperwork.  Although they will be bring baby Carter home they still need lots of prayers and support to help pay for the adoption costs. Meet Matt and Dori Deitrich, a loving couple who has been married for 4years now. Matt is an alumni of Asbury Theological Seminary and he is currently working at Nicholasville United Methodist Church as the Youth Director. Dori works as an Occupational Therapist at Ephraim Mcdowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.  These two are a blessing to all that they come into contact with.  They have been faithful in serving the Lord where he calls them and seeking him in everything they do.  Their friendship has been a blessing to Brian and I during our time here in Kentucky. 

 

Its been over a year now since they started trying to have kids and they have, like many others, had difficulty conceiving.  In light of this they have heard the Lord speak into this time of difficulty and frustration, his plan for their lives, adoption.

As Matt and Dori have been making their way through the adoption process I have been given the desire to help them in whatever way I can.  I know that they will make great parents and I am excited to see the way the Lord continues to use their adoption to bring them closer to him.  They are using Graceful Adoptions  as their adoption agency.  Check out the link to learn more about the process they have had to go through to be able to adopt. So, in light of my new "hobby" sewing, I have started selling bags that I have made to help with their cost of adoption.  All proceeds will go to the Deitrich's adoption expenses. Adoption is crazy expensive and this amazing couple is deserving of a little bundle of joy as much as the next person. I am excited that I can use my time to serve and bless them during this time of obedience.  Join me in helping the Deitrich's bring home a baby of their own.
