February

February hasn't been super eventful. Actually in all honestly this 2013 year is flying by.  I do not even feel like I have done that much!
-Start of new semester for Brian (and he is doing GREAT!)
-I cut my heel and now cant stand on it which doesn't make excising easy or normal things like walking, standing or shaving your legs. It is slowly healing because every time I think it is good to start walking on it and slowly put pressure on it, I end up breaking open the cut and it starts to bleed again. Small annoyance.
-I had mentioned some possible exciting things coming last month and I couldnt share very much about it but now I can.  Its not so exciting now because I didnt get the job I was interviewing for and thought I would love here at the Seminary.  It ended up being what was best for now and I know it worked out for the best but I was still bummed because I really wanted to work in a different area on campus. I will be keeping my eyes out for openings this summer. I will be honest it has kind of made me check out a bit in my current position because I went so far in the interview process that I was mentally ready to be gone. So February at work has been a LONG month.
-Starting to garden...we racked 8 bags of leaves out of the garden plot. And I spent a few hours on Saturday pulling weeds and digging up some large roots.
You can see the "L" Shape of the rectangle plot that had been used more recently than the very over grown area on the left.  There are weeds and grass over a lot of the plot.

I need to go back today and do some more work because it will be nice out. Between rain, snow and cold temperatures and strong winds it has been a slow process. I am super excited about all of the stuff we are going to start planting at the end of March and into May.  More to come on this!

Brian and I are:
Learning to be intentional with our time.
Learning to compromise about how to spend tax return (which we are so blessed by and thankful for)
Continuing to learn how to  love each other well.
       Loving married life!

Things that are to come:
-Meeting with the outreach committee at Nicholasville United Methodist Church (where we attend) on Thursday March 7th.  I have been waiting to meet with them since last December and I am hopeful that they will let me go before the Church to ask if there are people who want to start a committee for YL and begin praying and dreaming for Jessamine County Youth. I am praying that God will be preparing hearts in the congregation and also in the community as a whole to be a part of this.
